The national teams of Moldova won two victories in one day over the national teams of Azerbaijan. First, the Under-19 youth team scored two unanswered goals, and in the evening the national team won their first victory after 20 drought matches.

 

Sergei Sekou, coach of the Under-19 national team, fielded in the starting lineup the players of the Sheriff Football Academy. Goalkeeper Sergei Savochka was a real hero of the match, having played the entire match. Also, Adrian Hatman spent 90 minutes on the field. Roman Skurtul and Pavel Kucheryavenko played 45 minutes each, Dmitry Pogreban entered the field in the 77th minute. Goalkeeper Andrey Filippov remained on the bench.

 

Roberto Bordin fielded two players of the first team. Veaceslav Posmac and Alexander Belousov played 90 minutes each. Goalkeeper Dumitru Celeadnic did not enter the field. The only goal was scored by the former FC Sheriff player Vitaly Damashkan.
