Our rival - Levadia
The second rival of FC Sheriff at the training camp in Turkish Belek will be the Estonian Levadia from Tallinn.
Our rival is the same age as FC Sheriff, was founded in 1998, in the city of Maardu, and in 2003 it moved to the capital of Estonia. It won the Championship of its country 9 times (the last time in 2014), the same number of times it became the second (including the last season of 2019) and twice received bronze medals. It regularly plays in European competitions, where the biggest success was participation in the European League playoffs of the 2009-2010 season, where it lost to the Turkish Galatasaray.
This winter, the team has been working in Turkey for 10 days at the training camp, where it managed to play with Dinamo Minsk (1: 1) and defeated the Polish Medz from Legnica (1: 0).
The team is coached by Martin Reim, assisted by Vladimir Vasiliev.
