The Bulgarians have been defeated in the check match
The check match between “Sheriff” and Bulgarian “Levski” finished several minutes ago in Cyprus. Andrei Sasnitski’s team defeated the opponent with a disastrous score 3:0.

The 1st goal on the 44th minute is on Alexandr Erokhin’s account. After the lob from the corner kick, performed by Rodriguez, “Sheriff” number 10 being left unattended by the far post sent the ball past goalkeeper into the net. In the 60th minute Volkov nearly managed to come out face to face with “Levski’s” goalkeeper but he came out from the goal and stopped the ball by his hand outside the penalty area. As a result he got a red card. However the Bulgarian team wasn’t short-handed, it was just awarded to substitute the goalkeeper.

In the 83rd “Levski’s” defender used an illegal hold to stop Serghei Gheorghiev in his penalty area. Vladimir Volkov reached the point and performed the shot perfectly. Severasl minutes later Volkov had to leave the field because of the second yellow card. During the extra time “Sheriff” turned the score into the disastrous one thanks Luis Rodriguez’s goal from penalty kick. As a result 3:0 and “Sheriff” 2nd victory in Cyprus.
