Djurovic’s goal brought victory to Montenegro
Our players in their national teams

Yesterday in Podgorica there was played a Euro-2011 qualifying round match between youth national teams of Montenegro and Bulgaria. From the very first minutes, among the starting line-up, there was Sheriff midfielder Marco Djurovic (see photo). It was him who opened the score on 24’ of the match. In the end the youth team of Montenegro team scored the second goal and finished the duel with victory 2:0. Thus, till June Marco Djurovic’s team will be topping the group, having 3 points more than both Israel and Sweden teams (at the same time having played 2 games more than the Swedish and 1 game more than the Israeli). It’s the third goal of our midfielder in 4 games for U-21 Montenegro team.
                  
But the friendly duel of U-19 national team of France and Ukraine has not determined the winner – the final result was 0:0. Today the second match of the teams will be played. Just to remind you that Sheriff defender Rustam Tsynya plays for U-19 of Ukraine.
                
The Moldova U-19 team was defeated by the Romanian team in Tiraspol with the result 2:4. Among the first eleven of the Moldova U-19 team there were 4 Sheriff players: Veaceslav Volosin, Igor Dima, Vadim Rata and Arteom Haceaturov. Sheriff midfielder Vadim Rata scored a goal to the Romanian team on 13’. Another pupil of our Football Academy Evgheni Svedul entered the pitch in the second half. There will be another friendly match of the U-19 teams today at the Sheriff Small Arena.
