On the press conference after the match, "CSKA-Rapid" head coach Pavel Irichuk shared his opinion about the ended match with journalists:
- I am satisfied with the quality and organization of our team's play today. All team and personal tasks, which have been set, were realized on 100% actually. The only tactical mistake in standard situations led to conceding goal. But I think, judging from the goal-scoring opportunities created today, we weren’t inferior to "Sheriff". We played well against the best, in my opinion, team of the country. I have no claims to the players. They did everything possible, that they were able to do.
