We keep on watching the career of footballers who passed through the school of FC “Sheriff” on the stage of their becoming. Today it is a question of players performing in Scandinavia.
George Florescu was fielded in the starting line-up of Danish “Midtjylland” in the regular leg match of the Championship of Denmark. His team won that home match against the leader of the Championship – “Olborg” by the score 2-0. Thanks to that, “Midtjylland” caught up on points Copenhagen standing on the second place and fell behind the leader only by 5 points.
Also in Denmark, Simion Bulgaru played the first half time for his team “Viborg” in the match against “Horsens”. “Viborg” was defeated 1-3. In the interval Bulgaru was replaced with Jesper Andersen.
In Sweden FC “Helsinborg”, which Razak Omotoyossi performs for, during one week won the away match against “Panos” (2-0) and ended the home match against “Gefle” in the draw 2-2. In both matches Razak was fielded in the starting line-up. He played 68 minutes in the match with “Gefle” and took part in the combination move on the 28th minute which was successfully finished by the well-placed shot of Christopher Anderson.
In Norway, FC “Fredrikstad” of Fernando Wallace won the away match against “Rosenborg” which was menacing enough in former times and well-known to our supportersthrough the matches with “Sheriff” in UEFA Champions League. The Brazilian defender was in the starting line-up of “Fredrikstad” and played that match in full. In the middle of the first half time Wallace carried out the dangerous free kick but the ball didn’t hit the goal.
