Leonid Kuchuk: “Those won who scored first”
FC “Tiraspol” – “Sheriff”. Opinions of the coaches
/ 12 April
Head coach of FC “Sheriff” Leonid Kuchuk: I appreciate all spectators who visited that match (7500 people). It was very interesting game. In such matches those win who score first. Before making substitutions we played not so well but then the leading players were fielded who managed to accelerate the pace. So, we started to break the opponents’ play.

- Have you been satisfied with the play of Romanian players who were substituted after the first half time?

- They carried out their task and I was satisfied with their play. It was their first game on the Main Arena – the home field for “Sheriff”. I think they coped with the task.

Head coach of FC “Tiraspol” Vladimir Reva: In my opinion, the game kept spectators in emotional strain all the time. In the second half “Sheriff” put its leading players into action and it became hard for us. I think we were short of strength. The result corresponds to the play.

- Why did you replace Mutulescu?
- If you remember, he had a fracture of clavicle at the end of the autumn. There was a lot of fight on the field. I didn’t want to run risks, so Keptine was fielded.
