Apart from passions on the field and nice goals, the yesterday’s match was marked by some interesting facts:
Abdoul-Gafar Mamah and Luis Rodriguez (see photo) scored their first goals for “Sheriff”. While the Togolese defender was going towards that goal two years, it took about one month only for the Argentinean to score.
Newcomer Ivan Testemicianu whose debut was repeatedly delayed and our former goalkeeper Sergey Pascenco were watching the match from the stand. The new keeper of “Alaniya” Vladikavkaz visited Tiraspol for several days only.
The other event of the match was the return of Andrey Corneencov who didn’t play in official matches since getting injury. Andrey was fielded at the end of the match. It was his 96th game for “Sheriff” and next to nothing remained to a hundredth one. By the way, captain Vazha Tarkhnishvili was lacking in 4 matches for 350 games.
After that victory our club reached the mark of 100 points in matches against FC “Zimbru”. As for Leonid Kuchuk (on photo), his next jubilee isnot far off.
