A new player from Argentina has become the full member of our small football family. His name is Luis Antonio Rodriguez.
For the past year, the midfielder has played for Club “Atletico” Temperley, which is the home team of the city of Temperley (founded by British industrialist George Temperley) located south of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.
Rodriguez had four months left on his contract with “Atletico”. Before signing with Temperley in 2007, Rodriguez played for Arsenal FC, another Buenos Aires team which is known locally as “Arsenal de Sarandi”. The same year, this team went on to play in the International Copa Sudamericana cup (analogue of the UEFA Cup), and this year it is in the Copa Libertadores (analogue of the UEFA Champions League).
Luis Antonio Rodriguez – who is known as “Lucho” to his fans – was born on March 4, 1985. His height is 182 cm, weight – 78 kg. For the past season, playing for “Atletico”, he scored three goals. InourclubtheArgentineanwillplayundernumber 22.
