Leonid Kuchuk: “We have managed to do everything we planned”
“Sheriff” – “Levadia”. The head coaches’ words
/ 21 January
Leonid Kuchuk, the head coach of FC “Sheriff” (Tiraspol):

- The match was fortunate for us. We have managed to execute all planned combinations and realize most of the goal-scoring opportunities. I would like to note that the tournament is very complicated for professional players from the physical point of view. It is impossible to play effectively two days running and after 1 day break – to play again. So, tomorrow we are going to recover our health and the medical staff will have a lot of work. We have one day to bring the team into the readiness.

- Who, in your opinion, is the best in your team now?

- Well, I think this is Stanislav Namasco. He has played very confidently both the half in the match against “Zenit” and this day match.

- What chance does he have to remain in “Sheriff”?

- I would say he has a very good chance.

- The Commonwealth Cup is also called as a fair of talents. Do you look over somebody of players from the opponent’s teams?

- Of course, we pay attention to players. Good players are always needed…if they correspond to the level of our team.

Tarmo Ryuitlee, the head coach of FC “Levadia” (Tallinn):

- We have shown a good play, but they always remember a result. Having conceded two goals from set pieces and one dropped ball, we have made no more mistakes in defense. So, the score doesn’t entirely correspond to correlation of forces on the field. I am an optimist by nature and try to derive benefit from every match. We have examined our new players in action, proved ourselves to other teams, in any case we have been spending this time efficiently to prepare for the national championship. Tomorrow we plan to recover our health.
