Today, on the threshold of the New Year, we summarize the voting which had to determine the best player of FC “Sheriff” in 2007.

 

This title was given to captain Vazha Tarkhnishvili. 25,6% of 751 respondents voted for him. The second place was occupied by young player of our club Alexander Suvorov who yielded only 2,1% to the veteran of the team. Midfielder Andrey Korneenkov closed the group of three leaders. 10,7% of supporters and fans voted for him.

 

Goalkeeper Sergey Pashchenko (7,9%) and forward Alexey Kuchuk (7,3%) entered into the group of five as well. Other opinions were distributed in the following way:

It was already the third title in this year for Vazha Tarkhnishvili. At first he was recognized by supporters as the best player of FC “Sheriff” for its whole history and then Football Federation of Moldova gave him the title of “The Best Defender of Moldova in 2007”.
