Today Football Federation of Moldova held the celebration in honor of the best players and coaches of this year. By tradition, the majority of prizes was given to FC “Sheriff” which was dominating in Moldavian football during 8 years.

 

FC “Sheriff” former defender Alexander Epureanu, who transferred to FC “Moskva” last winter, was recognized as the best player of the year 2007.

 

In nominations through lines our club won three prizes from five (the fourth one was won by the former player of our club):

 

Captain Vazha Tarkhnishvili became the best defender.

Igor Pikushchak, who earlier played for FC “Tiraspol” and transferred to FC “Sheriff” in this close season, became the best forward.

Alexey Kuchuk, being the club record-holder in the area of goals scored during the 10 year history, became the best scorer again.

Nikolay Zhosan, who played for FC “Sheriff” until 2006, was called the best midfielder of the year.
