FC “Sheriff” Tiraspol is still the best football club of Moldova. It is confirmed by the new rating list of the football teams in the world published by International Federation of Football History and Statistics.
The team of Leonid Kuchuk keeps the 137th place in the rating having gained 99 points. Both “Danubio” Montevideo, Uruguay, and Norwegian “Brann” have the same number of points each.
As regards other Moldavian clubs in the rating, “Zimbru” Chisinau stands on the 270th position and “Nistru” Ataki is the 326th.
The leading positions are hold by clubs from England. “Chelsea” takes first place and “Manchester United” is the second in spite of the fact that in the league table of the National Championship everything is quite the contrary. Italian “Milan” occupies the third place.
