Croatian goalkeeper FC Sheriff Zvonimir Mikulich commented on the victory in the 11th National Division over FC Dacia (6-3) and the upcoming game of the second round of the group stage of the Europa League with FC Cobenhavn.

 

- Zvonimir, tell us about the last match against FC Dacia.

- There was a heavy game and in principle the other we did not expect. A difficult opponent. One of the competitors for the gold medal. Footballers "Dacia" acted harshly against our players. We were ready for this and tried to keep the game discipline. It seemed to me that in several episodes, it was necessary to show red cards. However, this is the work of judges. The main thing is that we won and are leading in the championship.

 

- We scored six goals, but also missed a lot ...

- In terms of attacking actions, the guys demonstrated a great game. Yes, they missed three goals and it's not very pleasant. But, the main thing is that we fulfilled the main task - we beat the principal rival.

 

- Already on Thursday we have to take FC Cobenhavn in the group stage of the Europa League. Your expectations for the upcoming fight?

- I'm looking forward to the opportunity to compete with European clubs such as FC "Copenhagen". We will be confronted by a strong team, which has a lot of experience of performances in European competition. All are determined to give all their strength for the sake of victory.

 

- It is clear that I want to not miss this game, but still, in your opinion, what is the main goal in the confrontation with the Danish club?

- The main goal is to demonstrate highly organized football. The level of teams in the European League is high, so we need to be extremely concentrated and concentrated.

 

- Do you think FC "Cobenhavn" is the main favorite in our group?

- Maybe the statistics show that the Danes are favorites in our group, but as a matter of fact, only the upcoming game will show.
