Who do you think is the favorite of the match and why? 
There is no favorite for me in this match, both teams have equal chances. That team wins which is better prepared in a psychological way.
 
In a match with FC Dacia you used only four Moldovan players, right according to the Regulations, however in other matches more local players were involved. Does it mean you think Moldovan players are weaker?
I have the players in the first eleven who show better play. It does not matter if he is local player or a foreign one.
 
There was a time when Sheriff played in the Europa League group stage, but now they are not even close to it. Do you think there should be changes made in the squad? 
For me Sheriff is a very good team, one of the best in Moldovan championship. We will do our best to win the championship this year, then we will get a few players who help us play in the European cups.
 
You and your players used to say that Sheriff is the best team in Moldova. Now you pointed out it is only one of the best teams. Is it because you became weaker or because the opponents became stronger?
I do not know how it has been earlier. I am talking about the current situation. I remember Sheriff playing against Dinamo Zagreb, Rijeka. I also remember the way Zimbru played. It was a very good team. Every year the teams become stronger. Nowadays, there are 4-5 teams in the championship and there is no significant difference between them. You can play decent football with them. I would like to mention that our opponent FC Dacia is also a very good team and we lost to them on a pitch where you cannot play football.
 
Why does Sheriff deserve to win the championship?
Because it is the best team of the championship. We lost only one game to Dacia.
 
Were you offended to suffer defeat from Zaria in the semifinal of the Cup of Moldova?
Zaria played better than we did. They deserved to win. We also had our chances, they scored and we didn't. This is football.

What is your attitude to Dacia Manager trying to send you home in business class?
Football is the game for men. We are not women to be offended.
 
How important is this game for us, considering that FC Sheriff President Viktor Gushan does not forgive the second place, and are you ready to say good bye in case of defeat? 
I see myself that Sheriff must become champions. I am a professional and ready for any outcome. It is OK for me.
 
In the last match against Dacia you were not satisfied with refereeing.
I do not wish to talk about refereeing. There are special people for estimation of their work. The main referee could have given the card to Dacia central defender but he did not do this. I do not want to think about past, Sunday match is important for me now.
 
Who else will not be able to play, besides Seidu Yahaya?
It will be hard without Seidu, he is very important for the team but we do have players who can substitute him.
 
Is the team ready for penalty shootout?
We worked on that at training sessions but we will do our best to win in the main time.
