Youth team beat Zimbru reserves
FC Sheriff youth team beat 1-0 their peers from Zimbru Chisinau. The first half of the game came in an equal fight. Both teams were trying their luck in positional attacking and both goalies had not much work to do. In the second half, the Yellow-Blacks took the ball under control and the game gradually moved to the hosts’ half of the field.
In the 76th minute, Alexander Osipov was knocked off near the penalty box of the Bisons. Marin Caruntu came on for a penalty kick shot by a low pass and left no chance for the goalie: 1-0.
The game was full of fouls, the referee cautioned both teams’ players several times. The coaches made some substitutions but, finally, our youth won with a one-point lead.
