Moldovan attacking midfielder Stefan Bitca has joined FC Sheriff’s first team. The player has completed all the necessary procedures and has joined our club’s large and close-knit family.

The 20-year-old soccer player learned the basics of soccer at the FC Zimbru Academy, where he began his professional career, making his debut at the age of 17. In total, Stefan played 55 official matches for the Chisinau club, scoring 12 goals. He spent the 2025–26 season with the Hungarian club Zalaegerség.

Stefan has been called up to all of Moldova’s national teams, starting with the U-18 squad. On November 11, 2025, he made his debut for the national team in a match against Italy (0–2). In total, he played four matches for the national team.
