Uruguayan midfielder, Mario Valentin Garcia Fernandez, became the first newcomer to the first team of FC Sheriff 2024. The player passed a medical examination and signed a contract with the club.

Mario was born on September 8, 1999 in a small resort town of Punta del Este. His entire playing career was spent in his native country, Uruguay. As a child and youth he learned the ABCs of soccer at FC Fenic Montevideoz, and signed his first professional contract with the second division club SA Seron. Also in his career were Seron and FC Progreso.

FC "Sheriff" is happy to welcome Mario Garcia and wishes him good luck in the yellow and black jersey of the club.
