Brazilian striker José Hugo Gonçalves Flores became the first new signing for FC Sheriff in 2026.

A native of Rio de Janeiro, the 26-year-old has spent the last six months playing for SFK Bălți. He played 21 matches in the Moldovan Championship, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists. Prior to that, Jose Flores played for FC Babrungas in Lithuania.
