The captain of the Greek youth team, Ioannis Botos, successfully passed a medical examination, after which he signed a personal agreement with FC Sheriff. Thus, the Greek attacking midfielder has become a full-fledged member of the large and friendly family of FC Sheriff.

 

Ioannis Botos was born on December 20, 2000 in Athens. From the age of 8 he has been learning the basics of football in one of the most famous clubs in Hellas - AEK. Last season he played for the Dutch FC Go Ahead Eagles. Scored 7 goals in 43 matches.

 

On September 5, 2019, he made his debut for the Greek youth team. Before that, he went through fire and water in the youth national teams of his country U-17 and U-19. At the time of his debut in the youth team, Ioannis was only 18 years old.
