18-year-old Ghanaian attacking midfielder Emmanuel Afetse has joined FC Sheriff. The player is preparing with the first team for the second half of the season and has already made his mark in the last friendly match against French club PortusFlo.

Emmanuel Afetse began his football career at the Brian Adebola Football Foundation Academy, before moving to FC Progen, which plays under the auspices of the Accra Regional Football Association. In three seasons, Afetse played 77 matches and scored 16 goals.

The young midfielder has already made his debut for Ghana's U-20 national team.
