The Yellow-Blacks defender, Vyacheslav Posmac comments on the debut in the National Division.

Vyacheslav, what was the debut in the Championship like for you?
Of course, we are happy the Championship has started as we’ve been looking forward to it very much. We played our first home game with the support of our fans and I think they liked it. The first game always goes under pressure as it is important both in strategic and psychological sense. Everyone wants to win in the first round to make a good start.

The course of the game went according to the plan?
Overall, yes. The game was under our control but in the first half the opponents showed a skilled play in defense and protected their goals well. Soon we shot from the set play and took the lead. In the second half, we controlled the situation and by the end of the game the opponents began to lose their physical condition and as a result we gained an advantage. The visitors’ defenders made mistakes that we used to create dangerous moments and attacks. Finally, we gained our deserved three points.

What can you say about our next rival – FC Speranta?
Well, Speranta is a good and strong team. The players from Nisporeni will struggle on every part of the field, they are not easy to beat. But we play at home again and a well-known fact is that it’s easier to play at home. We must win and get points.

How does playing for the National team affects the games for the Championship?
After the game with Cote d'Ivoire we were tired. It’s a normal physical condition. Of course, the games for the National team have their influence on the Championship. I went back from France with sadness for our defeat. That's why the win over Petrocub rose my spirit a bit. Generally speaking, the games for the Ntional team do not affect much our performance in the National Division. Playing for two teams is an important experience for every player and improves professional skills.

Your expectations from the Championship in generall?
Many teams there have equal potential. No club will give up points easily. We need at least to make the success of the former season happen again. FC Sheriff is a team that put for itself only maximum tasks. I want to wish everyone to have a nice Championship without injuries.I want to thank our fans as well for their great support.
