The national team of Moldova achieved a victory in the away match of the League of Nations with San Marino, having scored the only goal on the 78th minute of the game. The goal was scored by the former forward of FC Sheriff Vitalie Damascan.

Of FC Sheriff players, only Veaceslav Posmac took the field and played all 90 minutes of the match. Gheorghe Anton, Alexandru Boiciuc and Serghei Pascenco remained on the substitute’s bench.
