Cabo Verde midfielder, Joao Paulo Moreira Fernandes, is no longer part of the FC Sheriff family. The player left the team upon expiration of his labor contract.

At the age of 27, Joao joined the club in the summer of 2023. In 59 matches for the club he scored 7 goals, won the Moldovan Cup and played in the group stage of the Europa League.

The club thanks the player for his contribution to the development of the club and wishes him good luck in his future career.
