Nigerian striker Rashid Akanbi has left FC Sheriff on the expiration of his labor contract.

The 26-year-old player joined the team in the summer of 2022. During this time he played 82 matches for the club, in which he scored 32 goals. He won with the team the Championship title, two Moldovan Cups and played in the group stage of the Europa League and in the play-offs of the Conference League.
