Today the second team of FC Sheriff played the first match of the first tour in Ligue 1. Within the walls of the home stadium of SC Sheriff FC Ungen was defeated - 2:1.

 

The match was held in mutual attacks, with an abundance of dangerous moments. In the first half, the guests were in the minority, Povel Proca was sent off in the 20th minute by the referee for a desperate foul. A couple of minutes later we earned a penalty kick, which was converted by Danil Ankudinov. Toward the close of the first half, the players of Ungen managed to level the score. The ball was also scored from the penalty spot by Andrei Stratan.

 

In the second half, the wards of Shota Makharadze spread widely on the field and attacked from different zones. The numerical advantage led to only one scored the winning goal. Nikita Koval spun the ball into the far corner, the projectile did not meet anyone on its way and flew into the net of Victor Secrier. At the end of the game, our team had some more great scoring opportunities - somewhere there was not enough accuracy, somewhere the goalkeeper of the guests played excellently.
