Today in Division-A the 10th round took place, in which the substitutes of FC “Sheriff” won an away victory over FC “Granicherul” (1: 0).

 

It was a difficult match for Shota Makharadze's charges, the quality of the pitch did not allow showing the usual attacking and dominant style of play. However, our team didn’t need much time to adapt, and by the 15th minute our footballers took over the initiative. Both teams relied on set pieces, at the end of the match one of them eventually led to the victory.

 

In the second half, the game was divided into episodes, the players converged in many martial arts. In general, during the match, the referee showed both teams 7 yellow cards. In the 80th minute, Pavel Kucheryavenko could open an account, but, unfortunately, the home team's goalkeeper did not let him do it. The most important event of the match took place in stoppage time, namely in the second added minute, our pupils scored the winning goal. Evgeny Pleshko, due to his "size", went into the penalty area with a free kick. His jump was out of reach for the defenders, and his head kick was unbearable for the goalkeeper. A difficult game with an abundance of struggle, which made the victory sweeter.
