On the Small Arena there has been a Moldavian championship game between Sheriff and Rapid. On the 3rd minute the visitors could score when Potlog received the ball and sent it right to Tofan, who missed the goal. The danger for Rapid was created mainly by our Brazilians - Kadu and Ricardinho were close to score, but the most dangerous opportunity was lost by Luvannor, when Moraru parried his shot from several meters. The score was 0-0 in the first half.
 
Second half began also with Rapid attack. Tofan received the ball in the penalty area and sent the ball wide. On the 53rd minute Ion Arabaji fouled in the penalty box and FC Sheriff was awarded with penalty. Samardzic made a shot, but Moraru parried that shot. 15 minutes before the end of the game Luvannor passed to Kadu and the Brazilian sent the ball over the crossbar. However, Kadu scored in just several minutes, having sent the ball into the net. Rapid also attacked dangerously, however, Stajila saved our goal. In the end of the game Sheriff clearly dominated and this resulted in the second goal. Luvannor managed to strike beautifully from the free kick and the ball ended up right in the goal. The final score - 2-0 in Sheriff favor.
