The qualifying matches for the World Championship and the African Nations Cup qualification continue, in which the players of the first team of FC Sheriff take part. Here is the summary of their performances:

 

Luxembourg - Sebastien Thill

The Luxembourg national team beat the Irish national team with a score of 1: 0. The only goal was scored by former FC Sheriff player Gerson Rodriguez. Sebastien Till remained on the bench.

 

Malawi - Peter Banda, Charles Petro

In the last qualifying match of the African Cup of Nations, Malawi beat a direct competitor, Uganda 1-0, and advanced from the group in second place. Charles Petro played the entire match, and Peter Banda was substituted in the 75th minute. It should be noted separately that in the previous match against the South Sudan national team, Banda (on photo) was recognized as the best player of the meeting.
