No victories and Rebenja's goal
The national team of Moldova suffered a defeat in a match of the preliminary cycle in terms of the World Championship 2018, final part of the tournament is organized in Russia. In a third match of the group D, Igor Dobrovolsky's team lost to Ireland in a home match 1:3.
Only Vitaly Bordian took the field among other our players and he played the entire match, Radu Ginsari and Vladislav Ivanov were on the bench and Alexei Koselev was not on the match sheet.
Youth national team of Moldova lost in an away match to Czech Republic by the score 4:1. The only goal was scored by Sheriff forward Eugene Rebenja (on the picture) in the additional time. Another player from our club Serghei Svinarenco was on the bench.
The last match in this preliminary cycle will be played on 11 October against Malta.
