- Thanks a lot. I am happy that I signed an agreement with FC Sheriff. The club is constantly fighting for getting into the group of the European tournament - this is one of the main advantages of my choice. I did not think much, although there were other proposals. The choice was made, if you like, with some ease. Plus, an agreement was recently signed with my friend Rasheed Akanbi. I consulted with him - I think I made the right decision.

 

- Tell us, did you know anything about the Tiraspol team before or did you start studying it when the offer was received?

- No, this is not the first time I have met the club. Last season in the Champions League did not leave anyone indifferent, especially when FC Sheriff sensationally defeated Real Madrid.

 

- What about your debut in the Champions League - are you ready for such a challenge?

- Not every player in the world gets the opportunity to play in European football tournaments, not to mention the Champions League itself. Hope it works. It will be an invaluable experience in my career.

- Football is still football - of course there is excitement in playing against big names. We must do what we can do. In the end, beating a stronger opponent brings great pleasure and gives extra motivation.

 

- You signed the contract before the second leg against Maribor. What thoughts do you have?

- Firstly, I want to wish the team good luck in the upcoming game. I will be very happy if our boys go to the next round of the tournament. Well, then the task is to quickly adapt to the team and help the club achieve high results.
