Luka Pavlovic: We didn't have enough agression
FC Sheriff reserves head coach Luka Pavlovic summed up on the game against Milsami(3-3) of the 10th tour of Reserve Championship.
Today it was a very interesting game for the spectators: 6 goals were scored. But I’m not satisfied with the result as a coach. Our team took more initiative and controlled the territory. But in defence, it’s better not to play on the back against such a serious rival.
In the first round of the Championship, our players conceded to Milsami reserves. What did you aim at today?
We’d better not to compare these games. In the first round, another team played and the field conditions were poor. Today other players were fielded in both teams. Our guys played with big commitment but couldn’t win.
Each time we took the lead the rivals managed to equalize. Why couldn’t we keep the lead?
We haven’t won enough face-to-face battles. Many players performed not at their best playing and physical condition. Moreover, we didn’t have enough aggression. The rivals overplayed their hand on our field.
Why did you replace Jeremy de Noojer?
We planned in advance that Jeremy de Noojer and Eugeni Oancea should play 45 minutes. But nothing wrong with their performance.
