Last minute goal
FC Sheriff youth in the 4th tour game for the Reserves Championship grabbed the 1-0 win in the last minutes from FC Dinamo-Auto reserve team.
Luka Pavlovic's squad took control over the game and the territory in both halves. Dangerous moments at the visitors' goals went from the first minutes of the game. At first, in the 7th minute, Marin Caruntu failed to outbattle Andrei Cebotari in a head-to-head duel. Later, Jeremi De Nooijer made a dangerous free kick, but the guests' goalie performed a spectacular save.
The second half wasn't much different - the visiting team turned into solid defense whereas our players only upped the pressure all the time. Only by the end of the game, the hosts managed to convert their absolute advantage into the only but so important goal. Ivan Chumachenko, who came off the substitutes' bench, fired from the far distance and the goalkeeper failed to clear the ball.
With the score 1-0, FC Sheriff reserve team again lead the standings.
