Brazilian forward Jo Santos gave an exclusive interview in one of the social networks in FC Sheriff group. You can read about his recovery and plans for the future.

- We would like to congratulate you and your family with the New Year! How is your vacation going?
- Thank you for congratulations! Now my vacation is shared between my family and physical therapy. And I enjoy these moments.
- Has your injury been healed? So much time has passed and you do not take the field. Why and how do you feel now?
- It is very hard for me not to take the field for such a long time and not to able to help the club. But gradually I get trust, I need more time to get back to normal rhythm. I had a relapse and I had to follow procedures for two months. But it is no doubt that I will be ready by the renewal of the championship.

- While you have been recovering, the club had three different head coaches. You faced every one of them, what attitude did they have to your problem? Did they support you?
- Last two coaches helped me a lot. Support they showed me motivates a lot. The present coach Roberto Bordin helps me a lot too.
- Does it mean you are going to training camps to Turkey with the team? Is it likely to see you in friendly matches? We missed your game.
- Yes! I will go to Turkey with the team but I don’t know if I can play in friendly matches. I work every day here in Brazil with physical therapist to start playing sooner. I really miss playing for Sheriff and will be very happy when it happens.

- Sheriff finished first part of the championship on the second place. What prevented our team from taking the first position, in your opinion?
- The championship has become more competitive, there are good teams. We started not very well but I am sure we will be champions again. We are the best and we must prove on the pitch.  

- There is information that the championship of Moldova will transfer to spring-autumn system. Do you think it will influence the level of the championship positively, and on performance in European cups?  
- I think people who deal with this matter should think it over very well before making any changes. If the championship changes the system, it will not influence our efficiency and the quality of performance in European cups.

- I want to say thank you for your support and wish achieving goals in the New Year for all of us who makes Sheriff. You can be sure in my devotion to the team. I will try to give you more reasons for joy that will make Sheriff a great team.
