Goran Sablic: The Championship is not over
FC Sheriff head coach after yhe match with FC Zaria:
-Good evening. What I can say. In the first half the team started the match very badly. And two missed balls became a result of this. We could also miss also the third ball. There was no connection between lines, in defense there was no reliability. The rival caught us in counterattacks and used its moments. It was very difficult. In the second half the team added more. The result of this was seen to everybody. We’re satisfied. But our supporters, I suppose, is not. We must play each game to the maximum. Our players must understand that the championship isn’t over, and we have to finish it up to the end. Somewhere there isn't enough motivation. At the same time, I can't allow this and, I will never allow team to play in such way. It is good lessons for me. I hope that players will understand - in modern football it is impossible to win against any rival if you don’t give it your all 100 percent on the pitch.
- Because of problems with the squad, you constantly have to rotate structure. How difficult is it to build the playing of the team? Was it the reason for today’s bad playing?
-Maybe. At the same time, I want to give chance to both young players, and some players who have no practice recently. I want to see everybody in playing. I want to know on whom I can count further. I will repeat, we have the difference in points. It was made by the players. But we have to raise level of the game. Players don’t have the right to play below their level. They have everything: conditions, good salary. It is possible to understand a mistake of any player. Even I can be mistaken. However they must give their all 100% on the pitch. For the club, for the team, for supporters. All of them are players of FC Sheriff. Not all of identical level. Everyone has the chance. We will look further. We have a cup match ahead. This match is very serious. I don’t want to see the team relaxed.
-What can you say about the rival?
- It is a team which very well defends. It won't be easy for us. We have our aim, want to pass further. I want to see my team another, unlike today's.
-You gave the chance to Belousov again. How did he played?
-After last match in the Championship when I substituted him I said that Belousov is our prospect. He will have an instability, once better, once worse. Today he gave a good account of himself. And position, I think, suits him more. He has a desire, a character. And I like it very much. I talked to him after the match with Zimbru. Today he came off the substitutes’ bench well.
-With what was the substitution of Racu connected?
-He was injured. In the first half I could substitute 4-5 players. It happens that it is necessary to give time to the player for correction. Sometimes it is necessary to change something. Today it was decided to substitute Kulusic. He didn’t not really correctly came to the game. It was not his day.
