Goran Sablic: "At last I saw a team on the field"
The head coach of FC Sheriff, Goran Sablic, about the match with FC Sfintul Gheorghe:
-Good game. Deserved a victory today. From the first minute the team played very seriously, concentrated, with the good movement of a ball. Did not give to the rival space and the chance to create the moments at our goal. Could score more, but did not make it. It pleases that, at last, I saw a team on the field.
-How did the team feel after defeat from Milsami?
- It is clear, that we were very disappointed. But, the motivation was to prove everybody that we can and did not forget how to play football. I think that players understood – we have to work all together, and easy rivals are not exist. All players have to play both in the attack, and in defense and put pressure and fight for each ball. It is necessary to understand, all teams set themselves seriously to matches with FC Sheriff.
-What do you think about the game of Patrick Pedersen who scored today his first goal?
- Scored. And thank God that he managed to do it. Of course, could score earlier. But, it pleases me very much that he plays well on the field, on team, clings to balls and helps very much the team at development of the attacks.
-You’ll play another match with Milsami on the home field again. Is it a matter of principle for the team to win?
- After the previous games with Milsami all of us understand what we should do. Also, we understand what this game means for the team. It is a Cup, and the winner will be defined after two matches. But, we have to be prepared well and answer all questions by our game on the field.
