The first match of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League between NK Olimpija Ljubljana and FC Sheriff will be officiated by a team of referees from Greece headed by Vasilis Fotias.

The Greek referee is 35 years old. He has officiated in 5 international matches (the first in the season 2022-23 - "Alashkert" - "Hamrun Spartans"), in which he showed 17 yellow cards. He is known to Moldovan soccer fans for the match between the national teams of the Faroe Islands and Moldova, which took place on September 10 last year and ended with a 1:0 victory for the guests. This week he refereed the match between Jagelonia and Paneveges (3:1).

The match between NK Olimpija Ljubljana and FC Sheriff will take place on Thursday, August 8, at the Stozice stadium in Ljubljana and will start at 19.00 local time (20.00 in Tiraspol).
