FC Speranca – FC Sheriff
In 28th round of the National Division in the Championship of Moldova FC Speranca and FC Sheriff played at the Small Arena of the Sports Complex “Sheriff’.
The game was dominated by FC Sheriff as it was expected. The team from Tiraspol took the initiative since the first minutes and started attacking the goal of the opponent. The first shot was made by Juninho Potiguar but the ball went in the wrong direction. FC Speranca could respond in a dangerous shot by Octavian Onophrey who shot higher than the crossbar. Marko Stanojevic was active in the attack. After his shot the ball got into the crossbar. On 12th minute FC Sheriff opened the scoring. Juninho Potiguar received pass from the depth and sent it to the goal by the goalkeeper in one touch. Luvannor lost his chance in the middle of the half after making an imprecise shot. Soon Potiguar scored a brace. Stanojevic sent pass to the penalty area and Potiguar made a shot. After conceding two goals FC Speranca goalkeeper Dmitry Chelyadnik got into drive and made good saves after dangerous shots by Luvannor, Melli and Stanojevic striking down all three shots.
The second half was more successful. Stanojevic made a free kick and Melli outplayed the defenders in the air headed in the ball. The next one to score was Ismail Isa who turned home a pass by Veaceslav Lisa. The fifth goal by FC Sheriff was a fantastic one. The players performed a quick counter attack started by a pass from Balima to Lisa who sent the ball to Vadim Pairelli who in his turn sent the ball in the close corner. After not converting many shots Ismail Isa then finally finished the match by the score 6:0 after outplaying the goalkeeper and sending the ball in the empty goal!
In the next round FC Sheriff plays against FC Milsami from Orhei. The game will take place at the Small Arena of SC “Sheriff” on April 25 at 18:00.
