Sheriff suffered a 1:2 defeat in a match with FC Zaria.
 
Sheriff scored already on 9th minute of the first half. Zaria defender made a mistake giving pass to the goalkeeper, Zoran Kvrzic got the ball and sent it to the goal.
 
The second half started with Zaria players attack, and Andrei Novikov could balance the scoring. Third goal was scored on 89th minute when Igor Bugaev turned home and made the score final.
 
Matchday 2 of the championship takes place on 30 July between FC Sheriff and FC Dinamo-Auto in Ternovka.
