FC Sheriff – FC Zimbru. One, two, three
In Moldavian El Classico FC Sheriff determined the winner already in the first half after scoring three goals to FC Zimbru.
FC Sheriff took the leading position from the start. Kadu delivered the penalty and made an exquisite shot to the upper corner. However Denis Rusu was not able to make a save. It was a great shot and the score was opened! Alexander Dedov made attempts to calm down the hosts of the match but he was not precise enough. And then FC Sheriff scored again, however it was stated as an offside position. The goal by the Ricardinho was not counted. On 17th minute Rusu hit Kadu in the penalty area and the penalty was awarded. Ricardinho did not miss! Later the best striker of the championship made a shot into the opponent’s goal but the goalkeeper made a save. In a few minutes till the end of the first half Rebenzha was not able to outplay Rusu and the corner shot was to be delivered. It was where FC Sheriff scored their third goal. The best player of the match Kadu sent a pass from the corner and the Bosnian Amer Dupovac headed in his first goal for our team!
The second half started from the attacks by FC Sheriff. The Brazilian Kadu sent a dangerous shot at the goal but it was a little bit not precise. Then Rusu saved his team from another exquisite shot by Kadu. FC Zimbru goalkeeper also countered the shots by Yurku and Rebenzha. At the end of the match FC Zimbru could score a consolation goal. Dedov made a good but not precise shot, and Bugnyak could not outplay Paschenko.
This victory only added up to the intrigue of the fighting for the championship.
