FC Academia – FC Sheriff. Confidently and without any questions
On the international women’s day FC Sheriff made a gift with a confident win over FC Academia scoring three goals to the team from Chisinau.
Less than ten seconds passed after the start and FC Sheriff scored a goal. Maxim Yurku got the ball in the penalty area and could make the shot. Ion Sandu tried to kick the ball but he failed. Quickly conceded goal influenced FC Academia negatively and already on 8th minute FC Sheriff was to deliver a penalty. As in a match against FC Zimbru the rules were breached against Kadu, Ricardinho was to deliver the penalty shot. However our forward could not outplay Cristian Avram. FC Academia tried hard but FC Sheriff would not let them come closer to Serghei Paschenko. The most interesting events occurred at the end of the half. Ricardinho was twice at the shooting position. Avram handled the first shot, the second one was not very precise. On 45th minute Kadu and Ricardinho carried out a quick counter attack as a result of which the best striker of the championship came one to one with the goalkeeper and outplayed him.
It should be noted that Paschenko was not really taking part in the game. In the second half FC Sheriff also dominated and had dangerous moments. Eugene Rebenzha could not convert the brightest moment. Kadu got Rebenzha to free space but FC Sheriff forward did not use that chance. The final score was stated by Ernandes assisted by Yurku. The Brazilian shot from the penalty line and the ball got into far low corner.
This match was the last one in the second round for our team because the next round is missed by Zoran Zekic’s team. The games of the championship will be played in two weeks.
