Day 10. Interview with Sasa Marjanovic
Today, on the next day after the match with Ludogorets, team had two training sessions. Between training sessions FC Sheriff press-service had a conversation with midfielder Sasa Marjanovic:
Sasa, hello, please tell some words about the training camp.
Hello, we have good conditions for the preparation for the second part of our championship, and also I think we have enough time. We've got good pitches and strong opponents and I hope that when the championship resumes, we will be at our best.
What can you say about yesterdays game?
We lost, Ludogorets is a good team that takes part in European competitions. They have good players. I think that we didn't show our full potential in this game and we will do better later. We will need to improve communication on the pitch.
If you have to compare Rubin and Ludogorets - which team was tougher for Sheriff?
I think Rubin. I consider them to be a very good team. They play in Russian premier-league, that is a very strong championship. In the first match we were full of energh, and yesterday we were a little bit tired.
You say that our team doesn't show full potential. What is to be done to achieve this level?
We have to complete this training camp successfully, take a rest and proceed with the second part of preparation.
What about our championship? Of course our team wants to win it. How can we achieve this?
We have to do our job the same way we did in the first half of the championship. I think us to be the best team in Moldova. I hope we stay in the first place and will beat such teams as Dacia, Zimbru and Academia. М
What do you think about the importance of strong opponents in the process of preparation?
It is always good to play against powerful opponents. In such games we improve ourselves and prepare for the summer, when we will have to participate in the qualification games for european tournaments.
Now you are not always making the first eleven. What do you think, why is it so and what you have to do to change this?
For me now it is very important to train good and to prepare, to show what I can do during training sessions. Then the head coach will notice me, and I will make the first eleven. It is important to work hard.
