Alexander Boiciuc: I must play and score again
The first interview of the Yellow-Blacks' new signing - Moldovan forward Alexander Boiciuc.
Alexander, why did you accept FC Sheriff's offer?
I'm glad FC Sheriff signed me. There was some tension for a couple of days, but finally everything was fine and I'm happy with that. Sheriff is one of the best teams in Moldova. Their play is higher than the Moldovan Championship level. Also, they play for the UEFA Leagues. These two key factors are a big motivation for me to show my best skills.

I signed my first professional contract when I was 17 with the Romanian club Politehnica Iasi. Since the age of 14, I studied in Romania. The coach noticed me and after three training session took me in the team. I signed a contract and next day we went for training camps in Turkey. Later I was on loan in Milami where scored several goals.
Tell us about your career in Vejle (Denmark).
I had a chance to show my skills. If I could have more playing practice, I'd have shown what I can do. Vejle was struggling for entering the highest division of the Denmark Championship. I came here in winter and couldn't adapt to the local environment. I didn't play well in several friendlies and then got less playing practice. But I'm pleased with the time I spent in Denmark. Nice people, the club I played for and the country.
Why did you decide to go on loan?
Not enough playing practice and other things. At home, it's easier to play in the psychological sense. I may show my best qualities. I need to play again and score.
What skills and actions may help you to receive a place in the main team.
Good vision of the pitch and the ability to take quick decisions. I also have a goal-scoring flair that always feels me right.
What is the most important in the new club?
Sure, I need to fit in and become a part of the team and then show myself on the pitch. I want to help the team to win.
