Adama Traore: "Victory is never easy"
Malian forward of FC Sheriff, Adama Traore, about the match with Alashkert, about his game and the upcoming away match against Crvena Zvezda in the third round of the Champions League.
- Adama, can you share with us your emotions from the last game with Alashkert in the Champions League?
- I am very happy with our victory and congratulate the whole club on this positive result. This victory is based on our discipline and hard work throughout the training process.
- Confident victory in the score, and how difficult was it to defeat an opponent on the football field?
- Victory is never easy, especially if you already know the enemy. The opponent, like us, is also preparing to hurt our weak points.
- Are you satisfied with your game now, or maybe there are aspects of the game that still need to be worked on?
- A professional player is never satisfied with himself, including myself. The most important thing for me is to always progress and never stand still. This applies to both individual and group play. I always want the maximum on the football field.
- What do your partners and you say about Crvena Zvezda on the eve of the away game in Belgrade?
- I don't know much about our enemy. But we will definitely study the game of the Serbs and find the necessary key to victory.
- Many people trumpeted after the game that Sheriff had already secured a place in the group stage of the Conference League, and what is your view on the team's further performance in European competitions?
- The Conference League is not bad, but at the moment my comrades and I, we really want to get into the group of the Champions League or Europa League. And then we'll see what fate has in store for us.
