We deserved victory today, we played better than Costuleni. We had many technical mistakes in the first half. In the second half we managed to correct them and performed better in attack. Costuleni wanted to show everything in tghis game. They played good tactically. They wanted to take away space from us and build successful counter-attacks. They caused problems and also had goal-scoring opportunities. This is football. Today we deserved victory more. I hope that my players will stay concentrated and won't think that everything is over. I explained them, that those who want to achieve something and to get to the group stage of Europa League or Champions League, should concentrate on every match. There are no easy victories. We continue to work and wish success to the National Team in the forthcoming matches and to Costuleni as well.

In the first half we had difficulties with them, they didn't give us space. Because of this we often lost the ball in the finishing stage. In halftime I explained to players that they must be patient. They must be attentive, because any counter-attack could ruin the match for the team who lacks attention and motivation. They listened to me. Dadu's longing for goal, his result, plus Pascenco, who brought freshness in the second half, changed the game for better. This is the victory that brought us close to achievement.

What gave you more pleasure - result or victory?
It's not about pleasure. It's important for us to improve our game. I tell my players to do everything they can and gain deserved victories. I think that today we fully deserved it.

Today Dacia plays against Iskra. Do you expect a present from Iskra?
I am Sheriff's coach, and I have no interest in what Dacia does. If I want to show power, we should win in all the games, and also against them. I follow our championship, but I am more interested in what I do.
